What is Multiple Desktops?

What is Multiple Desktops? Why should you use it? How do you use it?

For the next couple of weeks we are going to be covering these questions in detail so you can have a greater understanding of what this awesome feature can do for you and how it can increase your productivity on your Mac.

So what is Multiple Desktops?

To put it simply, it is a way for you to have multiple screen views of your desktop open at the same time. If you press the F3 key on your Mac, you will be brought to Mission Control which will allow you to view your current applications that are open. Also, if you look at the top of your screen, you’ll see the current amount of desktops you have open.

Once you master this feature, you will be able to switch between desktops on a whim. This’ll help you switch between applications very quickly and efficiently, giving you more time to be productive within those apps! We’ll help you understand this feature through our Mac Tips newsletter but mastering these features takes a lot of practice. Don’t feel discouraged when trying it out if you can’t wrap your head around it immediately.

Next week we will be covering how to use Multiple Desktops!

For those of you who are going back to school and need a new computer, we are offering our own version of education pricing. Be sure to call us and ask about it, or visit in the store with your Student/Teacher ID and we will accommodate you accordingly!
